Kosher Lemehadrin Chalav Israel

About Us

Yotvata was established by Marco Sed, a native Roman-Jew and the restaurant’s executive chef. In establishing his restaurant, Sed drew inspiration from the eponymous restaurant chain in Israel. A chain beloved by Israelis and tourists alike.

Our cuisine is rooted in Jewish-Roman culinary tradition. It pays homage to our ancestors who already, 100 years ago, were delighting their palettes with such typical, authentic delights as Jewish-style artichokes, marinated courgettes, and deep-fried vegetables.

Home Cooking
The food was somewhere between good and very good. But the welcome from Nino was what made us feel at home. Nearly every restaurant wants to make you feel comfortable, perhaps in this day and age a repeat customer or one that says nice things-after all a business needs repeat customers. But true hospitality comes from the heart. It can't be faked or perhaps even learned.

The artichokes and fish were fine. The cheesecake dessert and Israeli Chardonnay truly memorable. We have had enough gourmet meals for awhile. Sometimes, you just want to feel valued for sitting at someone's table. There is ample outside seating to take advantage of on a nice day.

L’esperienza giudaico romanesca
Locale consigliato!
